Mechanical Keyboard V3
This is the latest board in my series of 3d printed mechanical keyboards. The idea came to be when I realized that I was able to use the 3d printers at WIT, including a Markforged Onyx One, which is what everything but the top plate was printed on. That was printed on a Markforged X7. This is the first one out of the three 3d printed keyboards that I have built that I'm truly happy with. This series of builds had always been for me to show what I had learned between them. This one is no different. Notable upgrades over the other two include actually using a PCB now, instead of being handwired. The PCB is an extra from Owlab Voice65. Like the V2, this one also contains a USB-C daughterboard, which is connected to the main board with a 4 pin jst connector. The original board does not label what wire goes to what pin, so I had to do some research, but ended up learning that they used red for ground instead of either black or green. I wired it normally, so red is VCC and black is ground. The Voice65 PCB has another jst for an encoder/led add-on, but neither of the printers had a print bed big enough to include the encoder that I had on the original CAD model.
